Twilight Season 2024 - Information
Here's what you need to know:
WHEN - Tuesday 8 October 2024
SEASON DURATION - 6 week season +1 Week Finals
COST - $300 per team
WHERE - MRNA Courts New Gisborne
DAY & TIME - Tuesday evening:
U11 - 4.30pm & 5.10pm start
U13 - 5.50pm start
U16 - 6.30pm Start
U18 - 7.10pm & 7.50pm start

AGE GROUPS - U11 / U13 / U16 / U18
UNIFORM - Provide your own
REGISTRATION
Each team must register via Netball Connect, and a team fee of $300 will be payable at the time of registration. Teams should then forward an email with the team name, grade and players to admin@macedonrangesnetball.com.au
If you are registering a U11 team please indicate the DOB of players as they will be divided into top and bottom age
It is compulsory for all players to have a current VNA membership
Once your team is registered, please have all team players register in Netball Connect.
NOTES - No earnings | No Jewellery | Nails cut | Arrive at least 10 mins before game start
OTHER INFORMATION
All players must be registered with the VNA - No registration = no game
Game time - 4 x 8 minute quarters with straight swap over at 1/4 and 3/4 time (time will not stop) and 1 minutes at 1/2 time
There will be 5 minutes between each game
The grades will only go ahead if we have enough teams
Everyone must be registered via Netball Connect prior to the competition starting
Some age groups may have limited spots (first in basis to secure spot)

U11 & U13 - Mixed
An unlimited number of males can play on each team
U16 Mixed and U16 Female-Only Divisions
We will be trialling both a female-only as well as a mixed competition in the U16 division. Both competitions will require a minimum of 4 teams. However, there will only be able to be 16 teams in total registered into the U16/6.30pm timeslot. The mixed U16 team can have a maximum of 3 males register per team (one male in each third at the centre pass)
U18 - Mixed
A mixed U18 team can have a maximum of 3 males registered (one male in each third at the centre pass).
Conduct
The MRNA has adopted Netball Victoria’s Code of Conduct - You can view the Policy Here
Spectator Information
Court Access - Limited to Teams, coaches, scorers and umpires only.
Spectators - Please watch games from outside the fences.
Parking - we are managing with restricted parking due to ongoing building works, please car pool where possible to reduce car numbers. Please be especially careful at changeover times.
If you are parking at Holy Cross School - please do not park on the grass areas and please ensure that children are supervised crossing the road.
